COTA TO HOST SIX PUBLIC MEETINGS TO GET COMMUNITY FEEDBACK ON 5-YEAR SHORT-RANGE TRANSIT PLAN
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) invites customers and community members to attend a series of public meetings and provide input on its 2027–2031 Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP), a five-year roadmap for transit service investments throughout Central Ohio.
COTA is proposing route and timing adjustments, redistributing some services and introducing new connections to provide access to current and future customers.
The SRTP, which is expected to be completed in June, will define which, when and how service investments occur. COTA will use this roadmap to meet the needs of residents and businesses. These smart investments will help COTA begin to deliver on the LinkUS Initiative to add up to 45% more
service by 2050.
