COTA BOARD OF TRUSTEES WELCOMES BRENT PASTOREK

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) Board of Trustees welcomed Brent Pastorek following his appointment by the City of Hilliard.

Pastorek was sworn in by COTA Board Chair Sean Mentel on April 21 during a board retreat at COTA’s McKinley Avenue location.

Pastorek serves as Financial Controller at Hilliard-based Forsee Power North America, where he leads regional finance operations. Prior to joining Forsee Power, he held senior finance roles in manufacturing and infrastructure services. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Dayton.

“Brent brings strong financial leadership and valuable private-sector experience to the COTA Board of Trustees,” said Board Chair Sean Mentel. “We are pleased to welcome him to the board and look forward to the perspective he will bring as COTA continues working to serve our region and move every life forward.”

“I am honored to join the COTA Board of Trustees and grateful to the City of Hilliard for this appointment,” Pastorek said. “Public transportation is essential to connecting people to opportunity and supporting the continued growth of our region. I look forward to working with my fellow trustees and COTA leadership to help advance that mission.”

COTA’s Board of Trustees provides governance and oversight for the organization as it delivers mobility solutions that connect Central Ohio residents to jobs, education, healthcare and other essential destinations.
