    There are lots of things to do in the Central Ohio region, including special events held in public spaces. When necessary, COTA will adjust service to accommodate these big events. This page will be updated as needed to provide additional information about rerouted lines, modified stop times, relocated stops, and other important details.

    Reroutes

    June 8–12, 2026: N. High St. & E. Como St. Stop Closure
    Impacted Stop: 1204
    Impacted Line: 2

    Due to construction, Stop 1204 at N. High St. & E. Como St. will be temporarily closed Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12. Line 2 customers should use nearby same-directional stops at N. High St. & E. Pacemont Rd. and N. High St. & E. North Broadway during this time.

    June 7, 2026: Parsons Pride Reroutes
    Impacted Lines: Lines 4 & 8

    Due to Parsons Pride, Lines 4 and 8 will be rerouted Sunday, June 7, from noon to 5 p.m. Service will return to regular routing once streets reopen.

    June 7, 2026: Columbus 10K Reroutes
    Impacted Lines: 1–12, 102, CMAX and Zoo Bus

    Due to the Columbus 10K, Lines 1–12, 102, CMAX and Zoo Bus will be rerouted Sunday, June 7, beginning at 7:40 a.m. Service will return to regular routing once streets reopen.

    PlayStreets Event: Line 5 Reroute
    Impacted Line: 5

    Due to a PlayStreets event, Line 5 will be rerouted near E. Whittier St. & S. Champion Ave. beginning Saturday, June 6 at 11 a.m. Customers may experience delays and should use nearby stops along the reroute during the event.

    June 5–6, 2026: Bridge Park Fore!Fest Reroute
    Impacted Lines: Lines 73 & Zoo Bus

    June 1–5, 2026: S. Hamilton Rd. & St. Ann Lane Stop Closure
    Impacted Stop: 2558
    Impacted Line: Line 24

    Due to construction, Stop 2558 at S. Hamilton Rd. & St. Ann Lane will be temporarily closed Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5. Line 24 customers should use nearby same-directional stops during this time.

    May–August 2026: Stop 4672 Closure
    Impacted Line: Line 8
    Impacted Stop: 4672

    Due to construction, Stop 4672 at Karl Rd. & E. Cooke Rd. (northbound) is currently closed and is expected to remain closed through approximately mid-August 2026. Customers should use nearby same-directional stops during this time.

    E. Broad St. & Shakedown St. Stop Closure
    Impacted Stop: 6384
    Impacted Lines: 10 & 25

    Due to safety concerns, the temporary Stop 6384 located at E. Broad St. & Shakedown St. will close. There will be no temporary stop available at this location.

    Line 10 customers should use Stop 6298. Line 25 customers should use Stop 7637.

    March 16, 2026: Stop 7536 Relocated
    Impacted Line: Line 1
    Impacted Stop: 7536

    Due to construction, Stop 7536 at W. Lane Ave. & N. High St. (westbound) will relocate further west starting Monday, March 16. The relocation is expected to remain in place through 2028. The new stop location will be in the area of 80–84 W. Lane Ave. Riders should board at the relocated stop.

    March 2, 2026: Stop 3825 Relocation at W. North Broadway
    Impacted Stop: 3825
    Impacted Lines: 1, 32 and 72

    Beginning Monday, March 2, Stop 3825 near the Riverside Hospital staircase will be relocated approximately 200 feet east to W. North Broadway due to roadway construction.

    The stop will remain in service at its new location and will be served by Lines 1, 32 and 72. This relocation is expected to remain in place through 2027.

    January–September 2026: Line 75 Stop Closures & Reroute

    Impacted Stops:

    • 1587: Tremont Rd. & Wilshire Dr. (sb)
    • 1551: Tremont Rd. & Wilshire Dr. (nb)
    • 7879: Tremont Rd. & Northam Rd. (sb)
    • 1552: Tremont Rd. & Northam Rd. (nb)

    Impacted Line: 75

    Use the temporary stop at Northam Rd. & Tremont Rd. for nb service and nearby stops for sb service during this time.

    Closures

    April 2, 2026: Stops 2509 and 7387 Closed
    Impacted Stop: 2509 and 7387

    Due to construction, Stops 2509 and 7387 at E. Broad St. & S. Hamilton Rd. will temporarily close starting Thursday, April 2. Customers should use the nearest same-directional stop in the area for their desired line. Impacts are expected to last approximately 2–3 months.

    March 30, 2026: Stop 1606 Closed
    Impacted Line: Line 5
    Impacted Stop: 1606

    Due to sidewalk replacement, Stop 1606 at W. 5th Ave. & Northwest Blvd. (eastbound) will temporarily close Monday, March 30 through Wednesday, April 1. Customers should use nearby stops at W. 5th Ave. & Grandview Ave. or W. 5th Ave. & Doten Ave. The stop is expected to reopen Thursday, April 2.

    March 2, 2026: Amenity Removals at SID 6370
    Impacted Stop: SID 6370

    Permanent amenities at SID 6370 will be removed beginning March 2 to prepare for future construction. The stop location will remain in the same place. Riders should follow posted signage during this time.

    February 11, 2026: Shelter Removal
    Impacted Stops: 7536: W. Lane Ave. & N. High St.
    Impacted Line: 1

    January–July 2026: Morse Rd. & Westerville Rd. Stop Closure
    Impacted Stop: 7770
    Impacted Line: 35

    Use nearby stops at Morse Rd. & Dunbridge St. or Westerville Rd. & Wallingford Ave.

    Reopenings

    5/11 – Downtown Stop Reopening
    Lines Impacted: 1, 2, 5, 41–46, 102 & CMAX
    Impacted Stops: 5910: N High St & E Long St

    Easton Transit Center Reopening
    Impacted Lines: 7, 9, 23, 24, 25, 31, 32, 34, 35, 44 and 45

    The portion of Transit Dr. at Easton Transit Center that was under construction is now open. Lines will enter and exit the transit center using normal routing.
