“MAKE THIS CITY MOVE” OPERATOR HIRING EVENT SET FOR APRIL 26

Spread the word to your family, friends and neighbors – it’s time to “Get in the Driver’s Seat!” with COTA during our onsite Bus Operator hiring event on Wednesday, April 26, at 1333 Fields.

This on-the-spot hiring event will include interviews along with required background checks and drug screenings, so qualified candidates can leave with an offer in hand. Prospective Bus Operators will have a chance to chat with members of Team COTA and get a sense of what it’s like to work here.

There will be two sessions: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 – 6:30 p.m. We highly encourage all Team COTA members to stop by to mingle with job seekers and/or sign up as an ambassador to assist Talent Acquisition with this event. Contact our talent acquisition manager, Alex Swogger, at 614-275-5895 or SwoggerAA@cota.com with any questions.

Vietnam Veteran COTA Operator Sidney Hill Recognized

COTA honored Operator Sidney Hill, a Vietnam Veteran, during the “Welcome Home” ceremony at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum on March 29. The event marked the 50th anniversary of the last U.S. combat troops departing Vietnam and repatriation of our remaining prisoners of war.

Sidney served in the U.S. Air Force from January 1972 to July 1974. He proudly served as a member of the 10th Security Forces Squadron in Alconbury, England guarding F15 Eagle Tactical Fighters. Sidney has worked at COTA since August 2011. He is a member of VERG, COTA’s ERG for Veterans.

Thank you for your service, Sidney!
