Take COTA to the Columbus Arts Festival this Weekend

Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is getting ready for a busy weekend as the Columbus Arts Festival returns downtown.

The 2025 Columbus Arts Festival takes place June 6-8 along the Scioto Mile, Rich, and Main Street bridges, and in front of COSI. Festival patrons can explore the best transit routes to get to the festival at COTA.com or by using the Transit app. Transit stops are located along High, Front, and West Broad streets throughout downtown and provide quick access to the festival.

COTA’s hours of operation begin each day at 5 a.m. and the final downtown lineup is at midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11 p.m. on Sunday. The fare is only $2 per adult, $1 per child under 12, and children under the age of 5 ride with an adult at no charge. Customers can pay using COTA’s digital fare payment system, through the Transit app, or a COTA Smart Card. Customers may also pay cash on board.

Festival Hours: Friday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

COTA Reroutes Due to the Columbus Arts Festival

COTA customers should expect reroutes from the evening of Thursday, June 5, through Sunday, June 8. Transit service and stops will be impacted on Lines 3, 6, and 9.
