Zoom to Red, White & BOOM! on COTA

COLUMBUS, OH—The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will provide expanded public transportation
to Red, White & BOOM! on Mon., July 3 with express service from Park & Rides, local service and
extended CBUS® service.
Express service to Downtown from select Park & Ride locations will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until
8:30 p.m. Before the fireworks, there will be an improved frequency of service traveling Downtown on most
local service until approximately 9 p.m.
After the fireworks, buses will leave Downtown from designated Red, White & BOOM! boarding zones at
approximately 10:45 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and midnight. Boarding zones will be posted in downtown High
Street bus shelters. Riders can also look for COTA employees wearing white “We move people. People
move us.” t-shirts.
COTA riders can attend Ballpark BOOM at Huntington Park for free by showing a valid COTA Park & Ride
wristband, valid COTA Pass, valid BuckID or CCAD ID!
COTA’s customer service call center will offer extended hours on July 3 from 6 a.m.-midnight, to assist

The CBUS will run until midnight on July 3 to serve passengers attending Red, White, and BOOM!
Local Service
Fares Each Way – Cash Only accepted on the bus:
$2.00–Adults 13 & up
$1.00–Children 48” tall and over and under 13 years of age, and for Senior/Key ID card holders
FREE–ADA ID card holders
FREE–Children up to 48” tall (limit three with adult family member – additional children $1.00 each per trip)
COTA will offer extended, more frequent service on Lines 1, 2, 2L, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 13.
Park & Ride Service
Round-trip Express Fares – Cash Only accepted on the bus:
$5.50–Adults 13 & up
$2.00– Children 48” tall and over and under 13 years of age, and for Senior/Key ID card holders
FREE – ADA ID card holders
FREE – Children under 48” tall (limit three FREE with adult family member, $2.00 each additional)
