Registration now open for downtown C-pass program
Beginning May 1, participating downtown Columbus employers can register their employees for unlimited COTA access through the C-pass program.
More than 45,000 downtown Columbus employees are eligible for unlimited access to COTA bus rides at no out-of-pocket cost.
C-pass is good for rides anywhere in COTA’s service territory. The program is being funded by property owners in the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District in partnership with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and other sponsors.
The goal of the program is to decrease the number of cars being driven and parked downtown, making office space more appealing to companies that would like to move downtown but choose not to because of concerns about a lack of parking for employees. There is also a hope that C-pass will increase regular COTA ridership.
