COTA’s CBUS Extended Until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for HighBall Festivities
Half Off General Admission Vouchers Available on the CBUS
Beginning this Friday Morning
COLUMBUS, OH—In celebration of the nation’s most elaborate costume party, the Central Ohio Transit
Authority’s (COTA) CBUS® will run until 3 a.m. to transport HighBall Halloween revelers this Friday and
Saturday evening! Pick up “Half Off General Admission” HighBall vouchers on the CBUS on Fri., Oct. 20
and Sat., Oct. 21, while supplies last. Vouchers will be placed on the buses each morning.
Due to street closures for the event, the CBUS will be rerouted as follows:
Northbound: The CBUS will operate on its regular route to Nationwide and High, turn right on Nationwide
Boulevard, turn left on 4th Street, left on 2nd Avenue, right on High Street, right on 3rd Avenue, into its regular
Southbound: From 3rd Avenue and Say Avenue, the CBUS will turn right on Summit Street, right on Chestnut
Street, left on High Street, and resume its regular route.
Customers should expect delays and reroutes beginning Fri., Oct. 20, around 6 p.m., lasting through the
morning of Sun., Oct. 22 in the Short North and Downtown areas, in conjunction with HighBall.
Lines 1, 2, 2L, 5, Night Owl, CBUS and COTA AirConnect will be impacted by the multi-day event.
Despite delays and reroutes, COTA offers festival goers an alternative to driving and parking to get to HighBall.
Friday and Saturday evening, COTA’s Night Owl will also operate (on reroutes) between Clintonville, Ohio
State campus, Short North and Downtown at 30 minute frequencies from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m.
