COTA seeks public comment on proposed Downtown Plan

Three more meetings scheduled for June 9, 10 & 12
COLUMBUS— The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is hosting public comment meetings
regarding the proposed Downtown Plan, a component of COTA’s Transit System Redesign. There are
three more opportunities for the public to attend and share input:

COTA completed a comprehensive review of its bus system in 2014, with the goal of improving service to meet
the changing needs of the region. The resulting Transit System Redesign (TSR) will be implemented over a
three year period, and began with the January 2015 Service Change.
When the TSR is fully implemented, the Downtown Plan would change how buses move in and out of central
Columbus. This proposal could significantly affect customers traveling or transferring along High Street,
including those currently served by lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, CBUS and all
Express lines.
