COTA Reroutes Due to Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon
COLUMBUS, OH—Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) customers should expect major delays and reroutes
in conjunction with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon. Minor reroutes on Lines 3, 13 and
56 will begin Thurs., Oct. 13. Major reroutes will begin at the start of service on Sun., Oct. 16 and last through
Lines 3, 13 & 56 will be rerouted on Thurs., Oct. 13 and Fri., Oct. 14.
Lines 3 & 15 will be rerouted on Sat., Oct. 15.
The official start time of the race on Sunday is 7:30 a.m. Street closures will begin at the start of service and
run through mid-afternoon. Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 52, 80, 81, CBUS and COTA
AirConnect) will be impacted by the event. All operations and transfers will move to 4
th Street at Long and
Spring streets in Downtown on Sunday.
