COTA Gets Pumped Up for the Arnold Sports Festival

Friday & Saturday CBUS Service Extended to 3 a.m.
COLUMBUS—The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is “pumped up” for the Arnold Sports Festival. The
, COTA’s free downtown circulator service, is extended until 3 a.m. on Fri., Mar. 6 and Sat., Mar. 7 to
accommodate the large number of people expected for the festival.
Guests are encouraged to ride the CBUS to get to and from the Arnold Sports Festival, hotels and their cars.
The CBUS is also a great way to enjoy the Brewery District, Downtown, the Arena District and the Short North
throughout the weekend. The CBUS is free to ride.
Friday and Saturday evening, COTA’s Line 21 Night Owl will also operate between Clintonville, Ohio State,
Short North and Downtown at 30 minute frequencies from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m. Passengers can ride the Night
Owl for $2 each trip.
REROUTES: Sunday, March 8
Due to the Arnold 5k Pump & Run on Sunday, March 8, the CBUS will be rerouted as follows:
CBUS will travel the regular route north on Front St., to Front & Long streets, turn right on Long St., turn
left on 4th St., turn left on 2nd Ave., turn right on High St., then turn right on 3rd Ave., where it takes the
normal layover.
From the 3rd Ave. layover, CBUS will turn right on Summit (which turns into 3rd St.), turn right on
Chestnut, turn left on High St. and resume the regular route south on High.
Lines 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 15 and 18 will also be rerouted due to the 5k.
