Take COTA to COSI’s Big Science Celebration

Central Ohio Transit Authority will be the official ride partner for COSI’s Big Science Celebration, Saturday, May 4 at COSI and Genoa Park.

The Big Science Celebration is the grand finale of a four-day science festival, with 100 events across the region. On May 4, an estimated 25,000 people will attend the free celebration along the Scioto Peninsula, where families can take part in hands-on science experiments and demonstrations.

As the official ride partner, COSI will hand out free COTA bus passes to people during dozens of science events May 1-3. Those passes will allow people to take COTA from any bus line, to the Big Science Celebration on May 4.

At the festival, visit the COTA exhibit, located on the Rich Street Bridge, where you can learn more about COTA’s commitment to sustainability and check out our newest buses, which run on compressed natural gas (CNG).

At the COTA exhibit, you can also receive a bus pass that will allow you to travel home from the festival for free.

You can plan your trip using COTA’s trip planner or you can also plan your trip using the Transit app.
