COTA celebrating ComFest with expanded service

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will provide expanded service during ComFest in Goodale Park, Fri., June 22 through Sun., June 24.

Extra buses will be available for ComFest on Friday and Saturday evenings to assist customers with getting to and from the festival area quickly and efficiently. The buses will be marked with large “COMFEST” signs in the front windows.

Service also will be expanded on the CBUS, COTA’s free downtown circulator, until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights to accommodate the large number of people expected for the festival. The CBUS is a great way to enjoy the Brewery District, Downtown, the Arena District and the Short North throughout the weekend.

The Night Owl will operate on its regular route through the Short North on High Street. The Night Owl runs until 3 a.m.

There are no scheduled reroutes due to ComFest, but customers should expect heavy delays in the Short North area. In addition, traffic conditions could cause unscheduled reroutes throughout the weekend. For more information, please contact COTA Customer Service at (614) 228-1776. COTA apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates your patience during delays.
