Terms and Conditions

  • Please note that all auctioned items are, “As Is, Where Is, and No Warranties.” Successful bidders purchasing an item costing $25 or less shall be required to pay in cash, cashier’s check or money order for the item(s) at the time of the sale.
  • Successful bidders will be required to pay the balance of the bid amount and pick up the property within a week after the auction date, in cash, cashier’s check or money order.
  • Items not picked up by the deadline will remain in the property of COTA and the money deposited at the time of the sale will be forfeited to COTA.
  • COTA may also charge a storage fee of up to $20 per day for each item not picked up by the deadline.

The COTA 2019 Surplus Property Auction will be held on October 12, 2019 at 1600 McKinley  Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43222. Bob Sweeney, Auctioneer, will be conducting the auction for COTA. Doors will open for inspection at 8 am and the auction will start promptly at 9 am.

Successful bidders will be required to pay the balance of the bid amount by 4:00 P.M., October 16, 2019 in cash, cashier’s check, money order or credit card, and will be required to pick up the item(s) by 4:00 p.m. on October 18, 2019. Items not picked up by October 18, 2019 will remain the property of COTA and money deposited at the time of the sale will be forfeited to COTA. COTA may also charge a storage fee of up to $20.00 per day for each item not picked up by October 18, 2019.
