Description This position is responsible for the development of a comprehensive training program for maintenance personnel (technicians & supervisors). Develops, plans, directs, schedules, instructs, demonstrates, and trains employees in technical and non-technical aspects of vehicle and equipment maintenance. Qualifications Must demonstrate ability to perform major assembly repair and installation work, handling heavy tools, motors, and equipment; must have documented exp. working as a mechanic, formal education in mechanical field, or appropriate ASE certifications; must be familiar with the operation of the Heavy Repair Shop; must possess the proper tools that are required to perform the duties; must be familiar with Microsoft Office products/software; must have the ability to read/follow instructions and change work priorities as directed; must be able to respond to calls outside of regular hours; must have the ability to train other employees; must be able to handle and complete records/paperwork; must have ability to use computers/diagnostic equipment; must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License as required by statute; and must be able to pass written and practical skill assessment testing.

Qualifications Must have Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 yrs. mechanical exp. with heavy equipment; exp. with spreadsheets, database, CAD, and AutoCAD applications.
