Q: How do I get information about COTA services?

Q: How much does it cost to ride the bus?
A: Current fare information can be found on the website under Riding COTA-Fares & Passes.

Q: How do I read a bus schedule?
A: Route Schedules (also called timetables) have a route name, number, destination and map. The map includes transfer points and timepoints. The timepoints are departure times from major stops along the route. If the time for your stop is not listed on the timetable, use the timepoints given to estimate the departure times from your stop, or call the COTA Connection Customer Service Center at (614) 228-1776.

Q: What are the times that the buses run?
A: It varies route by route. It is best to check the schedule of the bus you want to ride. For schedule information, look under Route Schedules.

Q: Where do I catch the bus?
A: To ride COTA, you must stand by a COTA bus stop or shelter. To learn more about riding COTA, look under How to Ride/Overview.

Q: Can I park my car someplace and ride the bus?
A: Yes. You can park for free at any of COTA’s 24 Park & Ride lots and ride a COTA bus.

Q: How does COTA serve people with disabilities?
A: COTA provides accessible paratransit and fixed route service for people with disabilities. Discounted passes are also available. For detailed information, see Accessibility Services.

A: Compliments are welcomed and appreciated! You can compliment a bus operator by calling (614) 228-4110 or by looking under Contact Us on the homepage of our web site. It is helpful if you have the bus operator’s badge number or the route and bus number.
