Scheduling your Mobility Services trip

Mainstream – Riding within ¾ mile and during fixed-route service hours

  • Reserve Online – Click here to submit an EMAIL RESERVATION
  • If you are scheduling a trip for next day service, email must be received 1/2 hour prior to the Reservations Department closing.

  • Reserve by Phone – Call 614-272-3033 to schedule or TTY 614-272-3030
  • Available seven days a week
  • Hours of operation match fixed-route bus service hours of operation - Call Reservations at 614-272-3033 for specific times or TTY 614-272-3030

Non-ADA Service – Riding beyond ¾ mile of fixed-route but within the service area or outside of fixed-route hours

  • Reserve by Phone – Call 614-272-3033 to schedule or TTY 614-272-3030
  • Available seven days a week
Hours of operation:  
Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 Midnight
Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Will Call – Riding to ongoing, long-term medical treatments such as dialysis, radiation or chemotherapy

  • Reserve by Phone – Call UTS at 800-838-7433 to schedule
  • Available Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • Mainstream tickets and Mainstream Monthly Passes may be purchased at COTA Pass Sales, 33 N. High St. or by calling 614-228-4123.
  • One Personal Care Attendant (PCA) may ride free with an ADA identification card marked “yes” for a PCA.
  • Companions must have the same origin and destination as the customer and the companion pays full fare.
  • Service animals ride free.

Independence at No Charge

ADA identification card holders may ride COTA’s fixed-route bus service for no charge.

Travel Training

Travel Training is available to those seeking independence by using public transit. The goal of the Travel Training program is to maximize each person’s ability to travel safely and independently on COTA’s fixed-route bus service. This is a free service.

Travel Trainees will learn to:

  • Plan a trip
  • Read route maps and bus schedules
  • Travel to and from the bus stop
  • Understand the fare structure
  • Locate and transfer to another bus
  • Recognize bus numbers, bus stops and landmarks
  • Board and exit the bus safely
  • Travel confidently using COTA’s fixed-route bus service
