COTA hosts regularly scheduled governance meetings as well as public comment meetings for all major projects. Written comments may also be submitted during regular business hours at the William J. Llota Building (33 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43215).
Board of Trustees
The Board is the governing body of COTA and is responsible for overseeing COTA.
Board meetings are typically held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (excluding August). Public comments are welcome at the beginning of each COTA Board meeting prior to the discussion of agenda items.

Accessible Transportation Advisory Committee
The Accessible Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) advises COTA on matters pertaining to accessible transportation. Members include customers and people in the community who advocate for those with disabilities.
ATAC meetings occur the fourth Monday of every month, and meet with COTA Leadership two times per year. Meetings are held from 7-9 p.m. at the William J. Lhota Building, William G. Porter Boardroom, 33 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43215.
In order to adapt to increasing demand and ongoing infrastructure improvements in Central Ohio, COTA makes changes to our service three times a year in January, May and September. Two rounds of public meetings are held before every change to ensure our customers have ample opportunity to comment and adapt to these changes.

CMAX Cleveland Avenue BRT
COTA is completing design of the Cleveland Avenue Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project, in preparation for construction in spring 2016 and operation in January 2018. Pre-construction public meeting will be held in June 2016.

Phase II of the NextGen initiative is underway, following the conclusion of Phase II outreach in September 2015. Following technical work throughout 2016, Phase III outreach will take place in spring 2017.

Transit System Redesign (TSR)
Over the next year, COTA is refining the TSR based on community input. COTA hosted ten public comment meetings throughout 2015. Outreach for the final plan will occur in fall 2016, in preparation for the new system launch in May 2017.
